Director of Wellness and Medical Services

Opportunity Overview

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team remotely. In this position, you will play a vital role in overseeing the medical aspects of our wellness and testing services, ensuring that our clients receive top-quality care.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and enhance medical and wellness services and protocols.
• Plan and sign visit records for clients as required.
• Collaborate with management to implement effective wellness programs.
• Conduct good faith exams to promote patient safety.
• Place orders for services and approve necessary supplies for wellness operations.
• Enforce healthcare policies and procedures within the medical scope of practice.
  
  

Qualifications

• M.D. or D.O. degree with board certification in Family Medicine.
• Current licensure from the Texas Medical Board in good standing.
• Active physician license in your state of residence and Texas; additional state licenses are advantageous.
• Unrestricted eligibility to participate in Medicare/Medicaid and other third-party payer networks.
• Prior experience in healthcare, particularly in Functional Medicine, with expertise in clinical practice guidelines and resource management.
• Experience supervising medical staff.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as JCAHO and HIPAA.
• Knowledge of the medical scope of practice.
• Experience in remote or telehealth roles is preferred.

Additional Information

• Job Type: PRN, Contract
• Compensation: Up to $1,000 monthly with the potential for signed commitment rates.
• Expected Hours: As needed, with flexibility including evenings and weekends if necessary.
• Location: Remote (Dallas, TX, or anywhere within the U.S.)
