Project Manager Job Description

The Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects, specifically in the commercial and renovation sectors. They will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets
• Coordinate and communicate with project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and team members
• Manage project scope, risks, and changes
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to all stakeholders
• Ensure that projects comply with all relevant regulations and safety standards
• Manage project budgets and expenses to ensure profitability
• Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment
• Lead and manage project team members, providing guidance and support as needed
• Conduct regular project meetings and provide status reports to senior management
• Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the project
  
  

Qualifications

• Previous experience in project management, preferably in the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of commercial construction and renovation processes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively
• Proficient in project management software and tools
• Understanding of relevant regulations and safety standards
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
