The Retail Marketing Manager, Travel Retail Americas works to enhance the luxury positioning of the Moet Hennessy portfolio and support retail sales growth and visibility by driving bold, innovative programming and salesforce motivation.

Job Responsibilities

Retail:

  • Develop innovative, engaging consumer brand experiences that are executable in an airport and cruise line environment
  • Lead planning and production of cruise line and airport merchandising and activation programs
  • Work with Cruise Line & Airport Commercial teams to grow brand programming and visibility
  • Detail management of cruise line and airport project timelines to ensure all key milestones and launch dates are met
  • Work with Visual Merchandising Team to improve current cruise line and airport retail merchandising and visibility
  • Regularly visit key cruise line ships and airports to identify opportunities and needs while auditing current programs and activations

Brand Development:

  • Assist Marketing Director to build the annual marketing brand plans and support implementation at key accounts in collaboration with sales team
  • Grow PR and digital programming as it relates to cruise lines and airport to drive MH brand visibility and share activations
  • Compile business performance updates including market analysis, competition information and marketing return on investments analysis
  • Identify growth opportunities on the field and develop appropriate tools
  • Support the Sales Team with sell-out initiatives and customer-focused tools
  • Develop a network of expert agencies ensuring MH Audit full compliancy
  • Proactively monitor and evaluate competitor operational activities including promotional & merchandising activity, category management and advertising
  • Identify and recommend investment priorities for visibility and activation programs
  • Build strong working relationship with Global Travel Retail Marketing teams in Paris via regular meetings, communication and project updates
  • Ensure a strong working knowledge of key strategic customers to effectively build annual program calendars.
  • Manage all A&P budgets related to lead brands

Education

Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or Marketing degree preferred

Professional Experience

5+ years of relevant experience in wines & spirits, Travel Retail, or luxury goods industry

Practical/Technical Knowledge

  • Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Strong timeline/project management skills
  • Ability to work across different cultural environments
  • Ability to communicate across all levels of organization
  • Excellent project planning & management
  • High level of computer literacy in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
