The Senior Manager, Global logistic oversees and coordinates the movement of our products, including inbound/outbound workflow with direct involvement to the Warehouse Management System (WMS) & 3PL partners. This is a critical position in optimizing our operational processes, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining efficient inventory management to support our growth and profitability. This role work closely with global colleagues within the Supply Chain & Operations organization, with frequent contact to our 3PL partners, Distribution Centers, Sales Ops & Customer Service departments.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Develop and implement enhanced operational abilities (inbound, outbound & quality control) that focus on sales and profitability growth in our markets.
  • Develop and implement strategies to streamline logistics operations, including transportation and distribution.
  • Drive and/or support logistic projects globally (i.e. improving efficiency, cost, transparency of warehousing/transportation/customs, etc)
  • Manage and support complete warehouse and 3PL operations
  • Manage and support optimization of transport operations, including direct shipments, road, import, export, and customs procedures.
  • Utilize data analytics to inform decision-making and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Manage global team handling logistics and transportation functions
  • Manage complex relationships with 3PL and transportation providers
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to logistics and transport.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align logistics strategies with overall business goals.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the field of logistics.

REQUIREMENT :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of proven experience in global logistics management, preferably in an operations-focused role.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong organizational ability and ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Solid experience in people management and team development
  • Proficiency in WMS tools.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent presentation, business/financial planning and management skills.
  • B2B and/or 3PL vendor management experience is a strong asset.
  • Knowledge in the sporting goods industry and a passion for hockey is favorable.
  • Fluent and professional level in English and French, oral and written.

Please note that the position is based at our head office in Ville Saint-Laurent, but involves travel to our St-Jean plant and to our 3PL on Montreal's South Shore.
