VP Technology

Description

We are looking for a VP Technology who will be based in Brooklyn, New York. This role is within the telecom provider industry and involves understanding and mastering various technologies used within the organization, including IBM iSeries, Island Pacific software suite, and Lawson HR and Payroll Systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and security
• Master the technology used within the organization, specifically IBM iSeries, Island Pacific software suite, and Lawson HR and Payroll Systems
• Utilize Microsoft Office Suite or related software for various tasks
• Leverage knowledge of retail and POS systems to improve business operations
• Work with cloud technologies and CRM to improve customer interactions
• Utilize Cisco technologies to ensure network security and efficiency
• Design and implement computer hardware systems to support business operations
• Apply knowledge of Lawson HR and Payroll Systems when required
• Continuously improve skills and knowledge in various areas such as IBM iSeries, Lawson, and other relevant areas.
  
  

Requirements

• Expert knowledge and experience in Cisco Technologies
• Proficiency in Cloud Technologies is essential
• Solid experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
• Demonstrable ability to work with Computer Hardware
• Proven skills in Design are required
• Familiarity with IBM iSeries are a must
• Experience with Lawson software is desirable
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and team management abilities
• Ability to strategize and implement advanced technology solutions in alignment with business objectives
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
• Proven track record in managing technology teams and driving team performance
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience in a similar senior technology leadership role
• Ability to manage budgets and control costs
• Strong understanding of project management principles
• Outstanding strategic planning and implementation skills.
