Job Summary
This position is responsible for the overall Quality and Process Controls for manufactured products at Dorman Products’ Lewisberry site. The incumbent will manage resources to optimize manufacturing quality, product control, warranty reduction, and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS).

Job Summary
This position is responsible for the overall Quality and Process Controls for manufactured products at Dorman Products’ Lewisberry site. The incumbent will manage resources to optimize manufacturing quality, product control, warranty reduction, and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS).
Primary Duties
- Daily leadership of the organization’s Quality function by building and managing a high-performance team
- Maintain a system of quality control procedures that assures product compliance to documented internal and customer requirements.
- Works with Leadership Team to develop quality objectives and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Lead initiatives to drive improved performance on KPIs.
- Analyze customer complaints/feedback, perception of quality, determine root cause and respond to customers with corrective action.
- Work with process design teams for APQP activities including but not limited to: Selection of special characteristics, capacity analysis, and verification of customer requirements fulfillment.
- Communicate with Customers and Suppliers on quality related issues.
- Access, monitor and update customer portals, ensure trained on portals.
- Oversee and perform warranty analysis and associated improvement projects. Review and disposition non-conforming material.
- Effectively interact with Production and Engineering to maintain current quality parts supply and introduction of new products.
- Coordinate all internal/external audit activities.
- Development and facilitation of all quality related training which includes the Quality Policy and Quality Objectives.
- Member of leadership team and serves as voice of the customer within the facility.
- Excellent MS office skills required especially Microsoft Excel
- Ability to communicate complex financial issues in simple terms, strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent financial analysis skills
- Experience in manufacturing environment required, electronics experience is desired
- Leadership skills to develop, organize and execute engineering activities including building teams and assessing technical performance
- Experience with continuous improvement implementation
- Ability to influence others not in chain of command
- Strong critical thinking and logical reasoning skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related program preferred but not required
- 5 years of related work experience with leadership responsibilities
- Experience in an ISO, TS/IATF 16949 environment
