TITLE: Lead Test Engineer
JOB DUTIES: The Lead Test Engineer is responsible for independently leading test engineering teams. You will be responsible for developing test plans and implementing those plans against the corresponding test procedures. You will be part of the ETE team – Enterprise Test Engineering (“ETE”) family responsible for ensuring that all applications and systems meet defined quality standards. The ETE family encompasses three major areas including functional testing, non-functional testing and test architecture and enablement. Other key focuses include regression testing, browser testing, performance testing, capacity and stress testing, resiliency testing, environment management services and infrastructure testing. Develops, conducts and evaluates testing processes, working closely with key stakeholders to remediate identified system defects. In-depth knowledge of automated testing tools and quality control and assurance approaches including the creation of reusable foundational test automation framework for the entire organization.
Your Primary Responsibilities:
•Responsible for system integration testing, including automation, of newly developed or enhanced applications
•Responsible for reviewing requirements and design artifacts, developing unit, integration and system test cases, ensuring extensive coverage for all applications under test
•Plan an active role in translating business and functional requirements into concrete results
•Lead, develop, and advise on test automation strategies and provide critical feedback in requirements, design, implementation and execution phases
•Develop and improve next generation test engineering automation solutions in a continuous integration environment
•Define, design, develop, document and maintain tools and automation frameworks for current and next generation software platforms
•Partner with key collaborators – Product owners, business analysts, application development, DevSecOps and other key stakeholders
•Track defects to closure, report test results, continuously monitor execution milestones and escalate as required
•Review functional specifications/user stories for testable requirements.
•Support delivery pipeline adoption and collaborate with delivery pipeline teams to resolve open issues
•Maintain traceability of functional requirements/Test Cases to automation test scripts.
•Maintain well organized records of test results and generate historical analysis
•Support overall ETE activities such as development of Test Approach, Test Cases, and manual test execution as needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronic Engineering or related field and 6 years of experience in the job or related position. Prior experience to include:
•Hands-on experience using Java 8 for test automation
•Selenium development skills, ability to develop, maintain, enhance, and execute complex automated scripts
•API automation with REST Assured
•Build tools such as Maven, adding dependencies, maintaining pom.xml file
•TestNG and JUnit frameworks
•Hands-on experience with Git and Bitbucket
•Write medium complexity SQL queries
•Automated test integration with Jenkins Pipeline
•Testing in AWS environment (EC2, Kinesis Data Stream, PostgreSQL)
•Testing SSM, SIM, and CTM trading application solutions
•Testing and automating UI, API and microservice based applications.

Telecommuting is permitted two days a week. When not telecommuting, must report to DTCC’s office in Boston, MA.
