Our well-established manufacturing client seeks an experienced Controller to join their well-tenured team. This hands-on role oversees the accounting team and reports directly to the President. The ideal candidate is a natural leader who is looking for a long-term career opportunity and committed to growing with the organization for years to come.

Controller Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting and finance functions ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and compliance.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements to support leadership in making informed decisions.
• Identify trends to support financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
• Develop policies and internal controls to ensure alignment with the organization’s strategies and goals.
• Assess processes/operations for continuous improvements and efficiencies.
• Prepare month/year end documentation and respond to audit requests.
• Ad-hoc financial analysis, reporting, audit support, and risk management.
  
  

Controller Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field; CMA or CPA a plus.
• 7 years of experience including prior supervisory/leadership responsibility.
• Manufacturing, production, or similar industry experience preferred.
• Knowledge of GAAP and international customs/exports regulations a plus.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem solving and decision-making abilities.
• Deadline-driven with the ability to effectively manage competing tasks and priorities.
  
  

Salary: $120k–$130k + Bonus (DOE)
