We are currently seeking an exceptional customer service professional to join us as a Manager, Quality Assurance

The Manager, Quality Assurance.is accountable for ensuring that the Incora Quality Assurance Inspection division is planned, budgeted, organized, structured and staffed appropriately, in direct response to the changing needs of the business; and that the receipt of aircraft fasteners, hardware, tools and certification documents from suppliers are thoroughly inspected for quality assurance, accuracy and completeness, by priority, to meet customer expectations and ship dates on time. The Manager, Quality Assurance is responsible for maintaining the Incora Total Quality Management System and Inspection operating policies and procedures, within industry standards and regulatory requirements that deliver clear, measurable and profitable results, directly in line with Incora’s business strategies for achieving short-term, as well as long-term financial goals.

About You

  • Oversee and manage the Quality Inspection and product release programs for incoming and out-going products, certifications and quality documentation; oversee department personnel, training, functions, processes and workflow, through departmental supervisors, to ensure all quality inspection activities are performed in accordance with AS9100 and customer-specific requirements; and to ensure all inspection logs, records and processes are accurate and audit ready
  • Act as advisor to Quality Inspection supervisors in the quality inspection and validation processes, and procedures
  • Approve product rejections and/or dissemination of the inspected products for completion of customer orders, including Special Programs and specific Customer Quality Plan requirements
  • Engage directly with Engineering management and staff to assist in the investigations or inspections of non-conforming products and to assist in the verification of supplier corrective actions
  • Prepare and conduct inspection status meetings or briefings for internal or external customers and management
  • Create or provide ad hoc system or statistical reporting, as requested
  • Plan, track and direct workflow processes and priorities, in direct response to customer-specific inspection and ship date requirements
  • Create, compile and interpret process, workflow, and time/labor analysis reports, to recommend organizational changes and effective process improvements, where needed, and to meet current and projected Quality Inspection commitments
  • Monitor overall Quality Inspection Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports
  • Prepare annual budget proposal for the Quality Inspection division, with substantiation, to Quality Director for approval is not a contract, expressed or implied.
  • Implement, lead and coordinate training of all AS9100 requirements, Quality Assurance Work Instructions for new process improvements and customer-specific training of Quality Source Representatives
  • Engage directly with customers' auditors and ensuring the execution of compliance with customers' specifications
  • As assigned, audit employee timekeeping records and submit to Payroll, as scheduled Maintain knowledge of supervisory responsibilities and enforce and uphold current Federal and State labor laws and Incora employment, safety and security policies and Work Instructions, as applicable
  • Effectively prepare timely performance evaluations, conduct reviews, administer salary adjustments, promotions or disciplinary actions and facilitate additional training or mentoring as, needed, driving maximum productivity and quality of processes, systems and procedures, in accordance with budgetary restrictions and compensation policies
  • Identify relevant quality-related training needs, direct staff training requirements, and develop training programs as necessary
  • Conduct regular and impromptu employee meetings, and attend company-sponsored supervisory or training meetings, as required

Qualifications -

Education, Experience and Qualifications

  • Education

Educated to National Vocational Level (NVQ) or equivalent (EU) B. S. in Quality Assurance or Engineering or a B.A. with an Associate of Applied Science in Quality Assurance Management, a 4-year degree in a related field with a focus in Statistics may be considered



  • Experience

    Minimum of 7 years Quality Assurance management experience, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a ISO9001 and AS9100 product distribution environment

    Demonstrated critical thinking and Business Acumen application is required Proven, process improvement skills and experience with Quality Inspection or Engineering leadership programs- Proven ability to make educated or experience decisions, with positive results Aerospace industry product knowledge is preferred

    Strong ability to analyze and interpret statistical workflow and time & labor data to generate profitable results

    Ability to effectively lead, train, supervise and motivate others to successful completion of goals

    Excellent organizational and time-management skills

    Clear and accurate data entry and documentation skills; strong follow-through and perseverance to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

    Excellent customer service skills with the ability to deal tactfully, confidently and ethically with both internal and external customers

    Strong competency working with integrated data systems, Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and intermediate to advanced Word and Excel (i.e., spreadsheets, formulas, importing and exporting of files, as applicable) as required
