Quality Assurance Manager

Chord Specialty Dental Partners is seeking a dynamic Quality Assurance Manager to lead our commitment to delivering the highest quality dental care. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in ensuring our practices adhere to rigorous operational, legal, and regulatory standards.

By meticulously reviewing patient records and billings, you will identify opportunities to enhance patient care, optimize treatment plans, and mitigate financial risk. Your analytical skills will be essential as you uncover patterns, pinpoint systemic issues, and implement data-driven solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Compensation $80-90k/yr

Location Remote

  • Perform practice and/or provider audits across multiple specialties to ensure documented processes and methods, defined operational standards, legal obligations, company policies and procedures, and contractual obligations are being followed and met.
  • Identify and lead investigations as necessary.
  • Analyze data to identify user/system errors to support system enhancements needed, trending, gaps in process, or the need for updating SOPs for training needs.
  • Record, update, and maintain database with findings, which supports preparation of routine accuracy and trending reports.
  • Participate in problem solving and collaborate with appropriate management and/or providers to effectuate change, support continuous process improvements, and monitor improvements.
  • Establish and monitor systems for follow-up items and closing audit investigations/observations.
  • Prepare, review, and submit documentation for external audit or other inquiries and assist in preparation of response to finding(s) as appropriate.
  • Support special projects or tasks assigned to support Compliance, Operations, or Company initiatives.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Dental insurance knowledge preferred.
  • Experience as a registered dental hygienist preferred.
  • Knowledge of Dentrix preferred.
  • General understanding of dental codes and provider reimbursement.
  • Experience in healthcare regulatory compliance, Medicaid and/or Medicare programs desired.
  • Organizational and planning skills with the ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple concurrent priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to understand and interpret data/reports recognizing trends and formulating recommendations for improvement.
  • Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment while interpreting policies and operating practices.
  • Technical writing skills describing discrepancy issues.
  • Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work effectively across multiple departments/levels of employees.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including MS Word, MS Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Proven problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
