Index Analytics is seeking a Business Analyst to support Government clients in the Baltimore and Washington D.C. Metro Area. The Business Analyst will collaborate with our customers to define product requirements, develop a product understanding, and communicate effectively to both business and technical audiences to deliver solutions. Internally, our BAs are integral parts of their scrum teams who they work cohesively with to ensure the best possible outcome for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Identify and validate clients’ business needs and Salesforce application requirements
• Support project managers with managing the client relationship and deliverables
• Work with stakeholders to define product vision and Salesforce application requirements
• Attend requirements gathering meetings with the client to identify business needs, functional and system requirements
• Collaborate with the development and testing team to ensure implementation of the needed business, functional and system requirements
• Provide regular and open communication across the program and stakeholders for transparency and awareness of progress and impediments
• Understand, visualize, and manage upstream/downstream dependencies
• Drive delivery and continuous improvement by utilizing feedback and metrics to identify areas of opportunity
• Communicate requirements to developers, testers, and stakeholders
• Demonstrate product functionality to stakeholders

• US citizen, or lived in the US for 3 of the last 5 years with an ability to obtain Public Trust level clearance
• Bachelor’s degree with 6 years of overall work experience including at least 2 years of experience managing requirements and backlog and converting requirements into user stories.
• Minimum 1 year of previous experience with Salesforce required
• Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Business Analyst, or another Salesforce certification preferred
• Prior experience with Center for Medicare Medicaid Services or other Govt agencies is a plus
• Agile certifications required, experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) preferred
• Demonstrated ability to break down complex requirements into actionable work items
• Knowledge and experience of Agile software development methodology
• Demonstrated ability to work with Salesforce technical teams to discuss technical concepts, make tradeoffs to remove roadblocks, and evaluate new ideas
• Ability to demonstrate excellent written and oral communication required
