Customer Service Key Account Manager

Provide timely support for large accounts as assigned. This position will work closely with customer service, sales & application engineers, marketing and the National Sales Managers.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with key accounts as primary contact for all communications and activities
  • Anticipate need for improvement with our key accounts, swiftly resolve any issues
  • Facilitate regular communication with all necessary contacts at assigned accounts
  • Develop and submit proposals and quotations
  • Promote new sales by creation of both standard and custom samples
  • Participate or facilitate in person or electronic meetings
  • Data Entry
    • Enter new orders into the system
    • Enter new part numbers into the system
  • Develop and maintain pricing matrixes for products
  • Assist in the development of and use custom product cost sheets
  • Aid with new product development and rollouts
  • Track projects in Sales Force, keeping Customer Service, sales & applications engineers informed
  • Produce, distribute & analyze sales reports
  • Develop and implement inventory programs under Ultrafab’s Worry Free program
  • Work with key contacts to maintain accurate stocking levels on the Worry Free program
  • Assist with insertion equipment needs customer agreements
  • May require occasional travel
  • All other duties as assigned by Ultrafab management
Key Required Attributes

  • Ability to work in cross functional team environment
  • Willingness to perform administrative duties at all levels with attention to detail
  • Confident and effective in communication; writing, in person or via phone with customers internal and external
  • Strong organizational skills required, including ability to manage multiple priorities with keen attention to detail
  • Able to multi-task and prioritize at a high level

Education And/Or Experience

  • 2 or 4-year degree in Business Administration is preferred, combination of education/experience will be considered
  • 3 to 5 years or more Customer Service, inside, or outside sales experience, preference in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficient with advanced Excel, Word, Microsoft Outlook and CRM or other customer relationship management software

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, use hands, reach with hands and arms, and talk and hear. The employee may lift/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
