Job Summary: The Financial Operations Director oversees the financial operations of the organization, ensuring efficient management of financial processes and systems. This role involves developing financial strategies, managing budgets, and leading a team to achieve financial goals and compliance standards.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement financial strategies to enhance operational efficiency and support organizational goals.
Oversee the preparation, analysis, and management of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
Monitor financial performance, identify areas for improvement, and provide actionable recommendations.
Manage financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, standards, and internal policies.
Lead and mentor the finance team, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.
Collaborate with other departments to integrate financial considerations into business strategies.
Coordinate with external auditors and financial institutions to support audits and maintain financial transparency.
Identify and implement process improvements to streamline financial operations and enhance accuracy.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Extensive experience in financial operations, management, or a related role.
Strong knowledge of financial regulations, reporting standards, and best practices.
Proven ability to develop and implement financial strategies and manage budgets.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
Proficiency in financial software and systems.
Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant) are a plus.
