Base pay range
Position: HR Manager
Pay: 90-120k
The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes. This role will support business needs and ensure the proper implementation of company strategy and objectives. The HR Manager will play a key role in the areas of recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and compliance with employment law.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.
- Conduct interviews, background checks, and reference checks.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
Employee Relations:
- Act as a point of contact for employee concerns and issues.
- Mediate and resolve workplace conflicts.
- Promote a positive work environment and company culture.
Performance Management:
- Develop and implement performance evaluation processes.
- Provide guidance and support to managers on performance management and improvement plans.
- Identify training and development needs and create programs to address them.
Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Conduct audits and prepare reports as needed.
Benefits Administration:
- Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs.
- Provide information and support to employees regarding benefits options and enrollment.
Policy Development and Implementation:
- Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure all policies are communicated effectively and understood by all employees.
Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and develop training programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in HR management, preferably in the property management or real estate industry.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) is preferred.
