Job Summary And Qualifications
The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordinates all functions in the unit. In partnership with the management team, the CNC monitors and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies. The CNC serves as a resource for staff and supports an unparalleled patient experience.
What you will do in this role:
- You will provide leadership through the collaboration of the Director/Designee through planning, organizing, coordinating, monitoring and evaluating the care provided for patients. The delivery of care is based on criteria that is age appropriate and is based on the physical, psychosocial, cultural, safety and learning needs of the individual patients.
- You will be responsible for fiscal, human resource, and operational functions.
- You will perform delegated duties consistent with the scope of practice and functions within the philosophy and overall plan of care at Swedish Medical Center and displays positive support for the overall goals, values and mission of Swedish Medical Center.
- Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multistate nursing licensure.
- Current BCLS, ACLS through AHA or ARC.
- Bachelor Science Nursing or Bachelors degree in health related field required. Graduate of a certified school of nursing.
- 2 years clinical RN experience preferred. Two years progressive supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred. Able to articulate and demonstrate knowledge of nursing theory and practice.
