Who You Are:

You are a results-driven individual with excellent communication and organizational skills, who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You know how to develop strong relationships with cross functional partners and with external agencies. You are a multi-tasker and team player who can work collaboratively. You must have a digital background, strong analytical skills, and a keen sense of the digital marketing landscape and KPI’s used to measure media. We prefer that you have Amazon experience.


As a Marketing Manager for Michael Kors launching the Amazon account and partnership, you will support all divisions (Accessories, Footwear, Ready to Wear, Men’s and Licensing) in developing 360 go-to market strategies that optimize product performance on site. You will manage how the Michael Kors brand appears on Amazon through full-funnel marketing initiatives. You will work closely with the Brand Director of Amazon to analyze selling to ensure marketing/media/advertising supports high-performing products and categories that drive profitability. You will also work in close partnership with our creative team to ensure brand standards are being met and the Amazon store is an extension to our own e-commerce site when it comes to imagery and messaging. You have a strong digital background and will also manage a daily relationship with a Retail Media agency, building out media programs.


What You’ll Do:

Paid Media Strategy & Execution:

  • Stay on the cutting edge of Amazon marketing within Seller Central, including Amazon Advertising, AMS, AMG, DSPs, Promotions, etc.
  • Use media to accelerate the Amazon flywheel to generate results that create a ripple effect into organic
  • Deliver continuous optimizations through testing and managing spend across various tactics to drive improvements in ROAS and Conversion Rate
  • Evaluate and analyze marketing success across levers, providing strategic insights into what worked, what did not, and actionable areas for improvement
  • Oversee and execute the paid media strategy and content enhancements in partnership with a media agency
  • Main POC for the media agency on day-to-day needs, asks and management including campaign set-ups, assets/creative management, keywords strategy, and planning.
  • Develop end-to-end Amazon go-to-market launch strategy from planning, executing, to reporting.
  • Brief agency on all new campaigns needed, strategy pivots, and optimizations
  • Manage Amazon marketing budget inclusive of paid and influencer ensuring alignment with Senior Director
  • Maintain all trackers, invoicing, and alignment with over-arching business goals
  • Collaborate with the Wholesale, License, Creative and Brand Marketing teams to ensure that advertising efforts are aligned with product launches, promotions, and overall brand messaging, balanced against where Brand is winning on Amazon.


Promotional Support:

  • Own and manage the marketing calendar for Amazon, working collaboratively with Amazon, Wholesale, Retail, and DTC teams to align on over-arching goals
  • Support all promotion plans such as Prime Day, key consumer events, and all future activations around Amazon as a channel
  • Maintain constant curiosity around new offerings, marketing levers, and white space opportunities for the brand


Creative Management:

  • Lead creative needs for paid activations, liaising with all necessary teams and working cross-functionally with the Amazon sales team to align on SIOPs and processes
  • Brief creative on all asset needs behind paid, working cross-functionally with Creative, Project Management teams
  • Track competitive trends in the paid media space, new opportunities, and improve upon existing assets
  • Manage cross-functional project teams while collaborating with key internal and external stakeholders to improve processes and communication mechanism


Reporting and Data Analysis:

  • Collaborate with Sr. Director and Category Manager to develop, track, and support Amazon marketing KPIs for Amazon
  • Regularly track and report on KPIs to gage performance and gather insights for improvement
  • Continuous competitive awareness of other brands in the fashion space, and regular checks with Amazon platform external teams on any new offerings


Influencer Marketing and Events Support:

  • Collaborate with Sr. Director and Brand team to support Events and Activations as needed, working on product supply, agency management, creative assets and/or ad hoc requests
  • Align with broader Amazon team on marketing plans to build a cohesive strategy between Influencers/Events and other strategies


You’ll Need to Have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ years relevant experience working in digital marketing, or media agency
  • Proven experience in a digital marketing role or similar exposure within a CPG/ E-commerce company
  • Experience with Amazon Seller Central, Amazon storefronts and product listings (preferred)
  • Prior experience building full funnel go-to market strategies within the digital landscape
  • Experience and interest in using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
  • Proven experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership and cross functional teams
  • 5+ years of experience using Microsoft Suite
  • Demonstrated experience in synthesizing data analyses into actionable results
  • Ability to work in NYC office 3 days a week
