Sundyne continues to build a team dedicated on its growth in the global chemical market. The Strategic Account Manager will lead and coordinate a comprehensive regional / global based from North America and is responsible for industry influencers to meet the needs of targeted accounts. Specifically, the role will grow Sundyne’s market share for centrifugal pumps installed within the top accounts identified.

Ideal candidate will:


  • Possess entrepreneurial spirit – treat the position as an opportunity to build a business within Sundyne
  • Drive and execute strategic plans of the Sundyne business; specifically, the growth of our magdrive technology brands; AnsiMag and HMD-Kontro
  • Expand Sundyne’s acceptance with target customers Approved Vendor Listing
  • Understand the target customer’s business, priorities and global footprint to increase Sundyne’s install base
  • Develop and manage key corporate level relationships for each assigned global account
  • Opportunity Planning – Utilize financial and business acumen to analyze opportunities
  • Grow opportunity and project pipeline with identified customers
  • Book incremental sales orders withing identified accounts
  • Multifunctional Account Team Leadership -Partner with local team account management team to develop strategic accounts
  • Experienced sales history with rotating equipment, in particular centrifugal pumps; compressor knowledge a plus
  • Corporate level experience selling industrial equipment to top US accounts; i.e. Dow, Dupont, Chemours, Arkema, LyondellBasel, BASF…
  • Ability to travel up to 50% throughout North America

Professional Skills Required


  • Joint solution development with ability to reach consensus utilizing influence and negotiation skills
  • Experience in matrix organization
  • Excellent sales and customer service skills with a proven ability to explain technical products to non-technical audiences
  • Ability to apply engineering, technology, or other related principles to product sales
  • Interpersonal skills to lead and collaborate with the team
  • Cultural knowledge and sensitivity


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or field related to products and services being sold preferred
  • 10+ years of related product or sales experience required

Compensation Details

Annual Salary: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00

Additional Compensation

Salary Range for this position: $120-150k (the salary offered will be determined based on the applicant’s education, experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, and will be compared with internal equity along with market data for this position).
