About the Job:

Raye IT Consulting is looking for a dynamic IT Training Manager familiar with traditional and modern job training methods and techniques to join our team. You will support a U.S. federal government agency in managing, developing, and recommending training program enhancements or modifications to meet their needs. Our ideal candidate has demonstrated the capability to manage the entire training cycle, including assessing needs, planning, development, coordination, monitoring, and evaluation.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support in developing and managing a comprehensive and robust IT training program.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive training schedule for IT personnel, incorporating both internal and external training opportunities.
  • Coordinate logistics for training sessions, including scheduling, and managing participant registration.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through participant feedback, assessments, and performance metrics, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Coordinate with subject matter experts to identify training needs and develop relevant content to address those needs.
  • Stay informed about emerging trends and best practices in IT training and incorporate relevant updates into training programs.
  • Able to learn and utilize an application for course enrollment.
  • Assist with developing a workforce gap analysis.
  • Provide support in the development of the IT Workforce Development Plan by providing comprehensive guidance, conducting thorough research, and actively participating in the writing and refinement process of a strategic roadmap and the plan itself, encompassing all essential aspects of the plan.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, HR, Training or related field.
  • 5 -7 years' experience coordinating multiple training events in a corporate setting.
  • Familiarity with traditional and modern job training methods and techniques.
  • Adequate knowledge of learning management systems and web delivery tools.
  • MS Office proficiency.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
