Responsibilities / Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned HR professional to join our global HR team as Global HR Director, leading the human resources function for our Medical Strategy & Communications practice. This is a hybrid role based out of our Yardley, PA or Morristown, NJ office.

In this role, the Global HR Director will contribute to and lead the execution of human resources strategies and tactics to support the needs of the executive leaders within the assigned practice area. The Global HR Director will lead and facilitate all HR programs and strategies in support of the practice through collaboration with the business leads, HR specialty groups, and other HR business partners. This role will serve as an expert consultant to business leaders on all talent and human resources matters, including organizational effectiveness, leader effectiveness, change management, organizational design and learning opportunities.

Key accountabilities include:

Employee Relations

  • Partner closely with HRBPs on business/functional areas on matters, including employee relations issues such as policy violations, performance issues, accommodations, job eliminations, etc.
  • Provide guidance to managers on policies, procedures, and communications.

Talent & Organization Development

  • Develop and implement a talent strategy that supports the short- and long- term investments, businesses strategies, enterprise initiatives, and achievement of overall business objectives.
  • Provide HR subject matter expertise on organizational design or other key organizational impacting initiatives such as engagement/operating model changes, mergers, acquisitions, and business relocations.
  • Work with business leadership to discern the current and future business needs to evaluate bench strength in key positions via established HR activities (e.g., Talent & Organization Planning).
  • Facilitate talent development discussions amongst business leadership (e.g., 9-box talent review discussions, targeted individual development planning, nominations for development programs).

Talent Planning And Compensation

  • Work with business leadership to define workforce planning, strategies, and plans.
  • Partner with the Total Rewards function in gaining knowledge of pay reference points and market data.
  • Assist managers in the annual compensation cycle.

Diversity & Inclusion

  • Partner with DE&I to define and execute multi-year strategy to attract and advance underrepresented talent and drive an inclusive culture.

HR Data & Analytics

  • Leverage internal and external data, trends, analytics, and insights to assess talent gaps, forecast resource needs, and model future scenarios to accurately identify and prioritize talent risks and opportunities.

Qualifications

  • At least 10 years of experience working as an HR Business Partner or HR leadership role, with some of the experience being with a global organization
  • Demonstrated functional and technical HR knowledge and expertise
  • Experience in and skilled at change management and organizational development
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
