Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Manager, Data Analytics to join our evolving team and manage the processes responsible for accurate data collection, processing, modeling and analysis. The ideal candidate has a knack for seeing solutions in sprawling data sets and the business mindset to convert insights into strategic opportunities for our company. The Analytics Sr. Manager will work closely with leaders across tech, product, operations, quality and marketing to support and implement high-quality, data-driven decisions. In this role, we expect you to have strong logical reasoning skills and business intelligence. The ability to communicate and collaborate cross-lane effectively is essential.

This role will ensure data accuracy and consistent reporting by designing and creating optimal processes and procedures for analytics. You will create and analyze reports to support clinical operations and present report findings to stakeholders and leverage these insights into initiatives that will support business outcomes.

The right person for the job will apply their exhaustive knowledge of data analysis to solving real-world problems faced by our company and finding opportunities for improvement across multiple projects, teams and business units. As an early hire on our Analytics team, this role will come with a ton of autonomy, a broad scope, and will allow you to put your fingerprints on our analytics function as we build it from the ground up. From day one, you will have an impact on the efficiency and effectiveness of our daily operations, and a lasting influence on our growth plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional projects using advanced data modeling and analysis techniques to discover insights that will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities.
  • Build, develop and maintain data models, reporting, dashboards and performance metrics
  • Oversee the design and delivery of reports and insights that analyze business functions and key operations and performance metrics. Communicate finding to key stakeholders across the business
  • Conduct full lifecycle of analytics projects, including pulling, manipulating, and exporting data
  • Act as a liaison between staff and management, analyzing and interpreting data
  • Oversee the data/report requests process: tracking requests submitted, prioritization, approval, etc.
  • Develop and implement quality controls and departmental standards to ensure quality standards, organizational expectations and accuracy
  • Organize and drive successful completion of data initiatives through effective collaboration with stakeholders.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 5 years of experience in healthcare in a position monitoring, manipulating and drawing insights from data. Preferred to have direct experience in clinical care models, and/or Value Based Programs
  • Experience working with and creating dashboards
  • Experience using analytics techniques to contribute to company growth efforts, increasing revenue and other key business outcomes.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration cross lane skills
  • Good project management skills
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks to support various team members; Ability to complete assignments in a thorough, accurate and timely manner; Attention to detail and follow-through in tasks to meet completing demands deliverables
  • The right candidate will also be proficient and experienced with the following tools/programs:
  • Deep experience with data visualization tools: Power Bi, Tableau etc.
  • Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as SQL, to perform effective querying involving multiple tables and subqueries.
