VP of Engineering

Overview & Impact

Engineering will always be the largest part of our company and this person will have the opportunity to help the organization as well as our company evolve. This person will have strong leadership experience and demonstrated experience scaling an engineering organization from 20 to 100+.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and scale the engineering organization working closely with our co-founders as well as the board of directors
• Own, manage and build out the technology platform
• Change the process we deliver software to production and doing it at even greater speed
• Champion our hiring initiatives playing an integral role in attracting and hiring talent
• Lead and develop team members inspiring curiosity, strive for learning and hard work
• Embrace our culture with a thoughtful and inclusive approach
• Help our company evolve across several physical locations and engineering offices globally while embracing the current remote work environment
• Foster a security-first mindset while serving as the voice of engineering both within and outside the organization, in collaboration with PMs.
  
  

Qualifications & Required Skills

• BS or BE minimum, MS in Engineering or Technology preferred
• 10+ years in Software Engineering
• 5+ years managing software development teams
• Demonstrated successful experience scaling an engineering organization
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity with experience in the security space
• Demonstrated experience delivering software to production at speed
• Knowledge of and experience with mission critical security stacks
• Experience managing offshore or nearshore engineering teams
• Experience building web based applications
• Familiarity of user experience and improving user experience preferred
• Start-up experience preferred
