VP, Enterprise Sales - Americas
Job Overview
The Vice President of Sales for the AMER Enterprise Sales Business is a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and ensuring customer satisfaction across the Americas region. Reporting directly to the Global SVP of Enterprise Sales, the VP of Sales will lead a high-performing sales team, develop and execute strategic sales initiatives, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve aggressive growth targets.
What You'll Do
- Sales Strategy Development Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the AMER region that aligns with global objectives and drives revenue growth.
- Leadership and Team Management Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales professionals across multiple locations, fostering a culture of performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Market Expansion Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, expanding TomTom' footprint within key industry verticals and geographic regions.
- Customer Relationship Management Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders, ensuring a deep understanding of customer needs and delivering tailored solutions.
- Collaboration Work closely with product, marketing, finance, and legal teams to ensure alignment on sales goals, product offerings, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations.
- Revenue and Performance Management Set ambitious sales targets, monitor performance metrics, and ensure the team meets or exceeds revenue goals while maintaining profitability.
- Forecasting and Reporting Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts, reports, and insights to the Global SVP of Enterprise Sales, enabling data-driven decision-making.
- Innovation and Best Practices Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to continually refine sales approaches and maintain a competitive edge.
- Experience Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in enterprise sales, with a significant portion in leadership roles within the technology sector. Experience in location-based services, data platforms, or SaaS businesses is strongly preferred.
- Proven Track Record Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth, managing large sales teams, and expanding market share in the AMER region.
- Leadership Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a geographically dispersed team. Proven ability to manage through change and ambiguity in a dynamic market.
- Strategic Thinking Exceptional strategic and analytical thinking skills, with a history of developing and executing successful sales strategies.
- Customer Focus Deep understanding of enterprise customer needs and the ability to build lasting, trusted relationships with key decision-makers.
- Communication Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
- Education Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
