Job Description

We are partnering with a large Entertainment organization on their search for a Contract IP Attorney to join their team to support several departments across the organization. The successful candidate will have proven track record of success with Intellectual property including trademarks and copyrights within either a law firm or in-house setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform searches and clearances for new marks
  • Collaborate with various teams to review open IP matters
  • Manage process for filling of new marks and manage protection of existing marks
  • Collaborate with the legal team on strategy around protection of existing marks
  • Collaborate with outside council

Requirements:

  • Experience with IP in law firm or in house setting
  • Juris Doctorate
  • Admission to NY State Bar
  • Strong knowledge of IP Law and USPTO rules and regulations
  • Bilingual Spanish or French is a plus
