Position Summary: 

The Director of Enterprise Applications is a talented, high-energy technical leader, who has overall responsibility for Truckstop’s ERP and CRM systems. This role will play a pivotal role in how Truckstop.com supports the strategic business objectives in a hyper- growth organization. Enterprise Applications will lead the operational execution of the Enterprise System IT functions in service to the business departments.

This person will be responsible for the management, deployment and overall operational excellence of enterprise level Salesforce and integrated business system solutions and functions including but not limited to ERP and CRM. The role is responsible for managing the resources required to effectively plan, evaluate, deploy, and manage the solutions.

Essential Job Functions: 

  • Manage and lead a team of technical resources responsible for the administration and and operational excellence of the CRM and ERP systems.
  • Be a champion of change regarding the enterprise applications, enabling Truckstop’s success and highly efficient and stable business operations.
  • Partner with business and departments to drive business growth and efficiencies.
  • Identify desired business outcomes and work to implement business improvements though process change, technology, and training.
  • Provide leadership and act as a business relationship manager among stakeholders to provide project definition, process leadership, timeframe, issue resolution, risk mitigation and status communication.
  • Working with the Sr. Director and VP of Enterprise Technology and Security Services, this role is responsible for maintaining and executing the ERP/CRM strategy and roadmap.
  • Provide transparency for the business into the SFDC development pipeline. Pipeline should include completed, in progress, and upcoming initiatives
  • Chair the Salesforce Steering committee, to drive the prioritization of pipeline work
  • Day to day operational and support management of the ERP/CRM team.
  • Vendor management to ensure delivery of quality products and responding to the company's needs while developing a beneficial business relationship; this includes management of 3rd party vendors for integrations and support of applications installed and integrated with the ERP/CRM systems.
  • Review and work with general counsel and security services to review and maintain MSAs and order forms with vendors
  • Work with the business to proactively identify license requirements and maintain budget for CRM/ERP systems and tools
  • Oversee and manage security championship within the enterprise application group
  • Provide IT governance and proactively identify way to govern change management within the CRM/ERP space
  • Maintain industry knowledge and understand latest developments to ensure applicable solutions available to enable business efficiencies and productivity.
  • Building and leveraging automation to decrease overall system deployment and support cycle time.
  • Understanding system interdependencies as well as existing and anticipated ERP functionality.
  • Understand the business process areas and become a subject matter expert in the day to day operations and activities of those areas of responsibility.
  • Analyze the structure and flow of the business' work to identify possible applications solutions.
  • Understand business processes and remove technical debt.
  • A leader with demonstrated experience in leading ERP/CRM operations to excellence.
  • Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements: 

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Minimum 8 years of progressive experience managing and leading teams responsible for the operations and support of an ERP/CRM environment.
  • Knowledge of SFDC CPQ, Sales, and Service Clouds
  • 8 + years of Salesforce Experience
  • Deep subject matter expertise in Salesforce and ERP solutions
  • Proficient in SDLC & project management methodology.
  • 10-12 years of IT management experience
  • Agile experience preferred.

Final salary is based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, education/training, certifications, key skills, experience, internal peer equity as well as business considerations.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$204,000—$235,000 USD

The above description covers the most significant duties performed but does not include other related occasional work that may be assigned or is completed by the employee.
