Responsibilities
Position Objective:
The Graphic Designer is a strategic role responsible for creating visually compelling and impactful designs that align with Better Health Group’s brand guidelines and marketing objectives. The incumbent will report to the Creative Manager (or a similar role) and will be responsible for translating complex medical information into visually appealing graphics that will play a vital role in delivering effective marketing materials and improving patient experience.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the marketing team and stakeholders to conceptualize and create innovative designs for various marketing materials and campaigns
- Ensure all designs adhere to the medical group's brand guidelines, maintaining consistency in color schemes, typography, and visual elements
- Design engaging digital assets including videos for the website, social media channels, email marketing, and online advertising campaigns
- Create print-ready designs for marketing collateral, such as brochures, flyers, banners, and promotional materials
- Design visually appealing infographics and illustrations to convey complex medical information in a clear and accessible manner
- Assist in selecting and editing images for use in marketing materials to maintain visual consistency and enhance the overall impact of the designs
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop creative concepts for marketing campaigns and projects
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team, content creators, and other departments to understand project requirements and deliver design solutions that meet objectives
- Stay updated with design trends, industry best practices, and technological advancements to ensure the medical group's designs are fresh, relevant, and cutting-edge
- Additional duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communication, or related field
- 2-3 years experience as a graphic designer, preferably in a healthcare or medical industry
- Proficiency in graphic design software
- Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of creative design work, including both digital and print materials
- Solid understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout composition
- Proficient with Google Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for real-time collaboration
- Requires standing, walking, pushing, bending, kneeling, and reaching
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time
- Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle and have own means of transportation
- Has a contagious and positive work ethic, inspires others, and models the behaviors of core values and guiding principles

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be comfortable communicating with senior-level leadership, providers, and health plans
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Must be results-oriented with a focus on quality execution and delivery
