Responsibilities

Position Objective:

The Graphic Designer is a strategic role responsible for creating visually compelling and impactful designs that align with Better Health Group’s brand guidelines and marketing objectives. The incumbent will report to the Creative Manager (or a similar role) and will be responsible for translating complex medical information into visually appealing graphics that will play a vital role in delivering effective marketing materials and improving patient experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team and stakeholders to conceptualize and create innovative designs for various marketing materials and campaigns
  • Ensure all designs adhere to the medical group's brand guidelines, maintaining consistency in color schemes, typography, and visual elements
  • Design engaging digital assets including videos for the website, social media channels, email marketing, and online advertising campaigns
  • Create print-ready designs for marketing collateral, such as brochures, flyers, banners, and promotional materials
  • Design visually appealing infographics and illustrations to convey complex medical information in a clear and accessible manner
  • Assist in selecting and editing images for use in marketing materials to maintain visual consistency and enhance the overall impact of the designs
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop creative concepts for marketing campaigns and projects
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team, content creators, and other departments to understand project requirements and deliver design solutions that meet objectives
  • Stay updated with design trends, industry best practices, and technological advancements to ensure the medical group's designs are fresh, relevant, and cutting-edge
  • Additional duties as assigned

Position Requirements/ Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communication, or related field
  • 2-3 years experience as a graphic designer, preferably in a healthcare or medical industry
  • Proficiency in graphic design software
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of creative design work, including both digital and print materials
  • Solid understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout composition
  • Proficient with Google Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for real-time collaboration

Physical Requirements:

  • Requires standing, walking, pushing, bending, kneeling, and reaching
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time
  • Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle and have own means of transportation
