VP of Sales

Job Description

Include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Manage client and internal expectations throughout the sales cycle and closing process.
  • Understand and articulate (orally, written, PowerPoint presentation) the company value proposition into specific customer benefits
  • Identify the clients’ business needs and map the technology to help solve those needs.
  • Build business cases internally to ensure all solutions are profitable
  • Develop and engage with partners to accelerate sales
  • Manage client and internal expectations throughout the sales cycle and closing process.
  • Identify cross sell and upsell opportunities.
  • Complete all company required training, but pro-actively seek and obtain the knowledge/capabilities to enable continued sales success in your market.
  • Build the sales funnel:

Working to identify ‘suspect’ accounts to target that matches to a vertical sector/relationship within Oracle. Working with marketing, the channel and inside sales to build relevant campaigns, generate new leads and capture new accounts.

  • Effectively utilize Salesforce.com as basis for: contact management database, sales opportunity tracking, sales forecast and report generation.
