Base pay range

$140,000.00/yr - $175,000.00/yr
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Director to join our dynamic team. Reporting directly to the executive team, the successful candidate will lead a team of over 10 direct reports, driving sales in the legal services sector, specifically in court reporting and deposition services. This role is pivotal in managing and expanding our business, developing sales strategies, and ensuring the achievement of sales goals and profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of Account Executives, ensuring the development and performance of all sales activities in the assigned market(s).
  • Responsible for the overall sales strategy, including budgeting and pipeline management to expand the customer base and achieve sales goals.
  • Prepare detailed action plans for individual team members and the team as a whole to effectively search for sales leads and prospects.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one reviews with Account Executives to ensure accountability and progress toward sales targets.
  • Support the team in all sales and marketing efforts, such as coordinating Trade Shows, catering, networking events, and sponsorships.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to implement sales-driven contests, blitzes, projects, and other activities.
  • Oversee the administration of sales support systems, such as Salesforce.com, to enhance the sales process.

Qualifications

  • Proven knowledge and experience in the legal services industry, particularly in selling court reporting and deposition services to law firms and insurance companies.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience, with at least 4-5 years in a sales leadership role managing a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive sales growth, both through new business development and organic growth of existing accounts.
  • Expertise in pipeline management, budgeting, and executing sales strategies.
  • Customer service oriented with outstanding interpersonal skills, capable of promptly addressing client needs and resolving issues effectively.
  • A minimum of a 4-year college degree is required.
