Junior Digital Graphic Designer (Contract)

Description:

eos digital creative team is seeking a Junior Graphic Designer with an emphasis on Digital experience to add to their small but mighty team. The superstar we’re looking for is digitally adept, a self-starter, and a team player. You are knowledgeable and have training in Adobe programs like Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects/Premiere Pro, Capcut, and/or other design editing programs. A plus if you also like or have experience creating video content!

You have an eye on layouts, compositions, color, and typography. It bothers you when the kerning is off. You know how to make a quick video cut downs of a 60 second video into an entertaining and thumb-stopping 15 second. Not only that, but you can even add fun text graphics and audio to the content. You’re even into animation, and though you haven’t had the chance to fully explore – you have the ideas! Does this sound like you?

This is a contract position for six months with a time commitment of 40 hours per week and potential for conversion to full-time upon review.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate, concept, assist, and execute digital design projects with current team including, but not limited to email designs, e-retail, social posts, video projects, pull inspirational swipe for photo and video shoots
• Must be able to time manage and communicate workload including concepting, executing, and revising any design projects if needed
• Is organized with file naming, design projects, and saving out work
• Can be resourceful and proactive in finding design solutions
• Ideate, design, and share work in a fast-paced environment
• Present your work with Creative Director and other cross-functional teams for review
• Attend and participate weekly meetings with cross-functional teams

Requirements:

• You are passionate and knowledgeable all things Graphic Design with emphasis on digital designs – think organic social videos, emails, website banners, etc.
• You are a recent graduate or have 1-2 years of freelance/professional experience in Graphic Design
• You are a team player and can effectively communicate your work
• You can take feedback well and can make edits to work efficiently
• Must have working knowledge of Adobe programs – Illustrator, Photoshop
• Must have basic knowledge of Adobe programs - After Effects, Premiere Pro, CapCut
• Must have foundational training in Graphic Design – typography, color theory, composition, layout, etc.
• Know how to export files for digital use
• Bonus – you are also comfortable creating video content
