Position: Interim CEO
Location: Torrance, CA (must reside within driving distance)
Type: Part-Time (2-3 days a week)

Role Overview: The company seeks a dynamic and visionary Interim CEO to lead it through a pivotal phase of growth and innovation. The Interim CEO will be responsible for overseeing the business operations, relaying the vision of the Board of Directors to a dedicated team of scientists and technicians, and supporting the organization in its commercialization efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic oversight and leadership to ensure goals and objectives are met.
Communicate and implement the vision of the Board of Directors to all employees.
Facilitate and support the commercialization of the company's scientific innovations.
Ensure effective and efficient operation of the company's business functions.
Report directly to the Board of Directors, providing updates on progress and strategic initiatives.
Requirements:
Experience in capturing and executing government contracts.
Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably in a science or technology-driven company.
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work part-time (2-3 days a week) on-site in Torrance, CA.
Comfortable with equity-only compensation.
Open to the possibility of transitioning to a permanent role based on performance.
