Vice President Corporate Finance

The Vice President, Corporate Finance is a key contributor to the overall success of the company and will provide financial and business leadership to the organization. The VP will be responsible for leading the development of the strategic and annual operating plans, financial forecasts, management reports and supporting a wide range of decision support analytics. The role is responsible for implementing the systems, processes, and controls to drive financial discipline in decision making and driving a culture of financial accountability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee strategic and annual operating plans, quarterly and monthly forecast updates, predictive analytics, internal reporting, and performance management against projections.
• Drive the budgeting processes and optimize expense management within the business, driving efficiencies and ensuring that investments are suitably analyzed, and operational costs appropriately controlled.
• Support the month-end accounting close processes and lead the preparation of all financial materials for management and operational reviews as well as reporting to the board.
• Lead the development and monitoring of key operational metrics to drive financial performance.
• Manage the company P&L to ensure we meet and achieve all of our performance targets and ensure leadership has visibility into risks and opportunities.
• Function as a thought leader by providing analytical insight and perspective to senior management.

Knowledge and Skills

• Relevant experience working in a matrixed organization and a financial services environment highly preferred.
• Functional experience in implementing and/or managing financial planning tools and processes.
• Deep understanding of US GAAP and fundamental understanding of financial services operations.
• Continuous improvement mentality. Ability to challenge the norms and existing processes.
• Strong leadership skills with experience in growing and leading a high-performance team and ability to demonstrate effective leadership in ambiguous and frequently changing situations.
• Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor.

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred
• 10+ years’ experience
