Production Planner (Packaging)

The Production Planner is responsible to meet Sales & Customer requirements through planning, scheduling, and the efficient utilization of equipment, material and manpower. Monitors material inventories, tracks production progress, and estimates completion dates.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Reviews special orders and schedules orders.
• Assigns the type and quantity of materials required.
• Checks tooling and coordinates requirements.
• Prepares & maintains daily machine production schedules to distribute to plant and internal departments in collaboration with area supervisor(s).

REQUIREMENTS

• 3 to 5 years’ experience in production planning.
• Bilingual: work with divisions outside Quebec.
• Understanding of lithographic printing and/or paper converting would be an asset.
• Intermediate computer skills required in MSOffice is required, previous experience with an ERP system would be an asset.
