Position: Customer Service Representative (*Bilingual English/Spanish)

Location: Phoenix, AZ 85027

Schedule: 730am-4pm local AZ time M-F

Worksite Arrangement: In-office first 2 months, Hybrid after training period (3 days on-site, 2 remote)

Starting Compensation: $15-17/hr DOE

Start date: September 23, 2024

Overview

Avenica is currently evaluating talent for a Bilingual Customer Service Representative to support with health and other personal lines insurance. This person will be responsible for providing service to customers through phone and email regarding various claims and policy inquiries. G reat opportunities for career growth!

Responsibilities Of The Customer Service Representative

  • Supporting policyholders with insurance product information and manage claim intakes
  • Answering calls and responding to inquires with claims, service and intake related issues
  • Provide detailed information about policy statuses
  • Assist with basic technical troubleshooting for self-service related issues

Requirements

  • Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required*
  • 2+ years of customer service experience required, insurance experience preferred
  • Service-oriented and strong verbal and written professional communication skills in both English and Spanish
  • Previous experience in a high-volume call center a plus
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US, Avenica is not able to provide sponsorship at this time
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to quickly learn and navigate new systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with efficiency and accuracy
