Holcim Solutions and Products US, LLC (“Holcim”) is hiring a National Technical Manager for

Thermoplastic Systems. This position is responsible for maintaining, creating, and managing

public-facing technical literature, training materials, and communications for TPO and PVC

roofing systems marketed under the Elevate™ and GenFlex™ brands. The National

Technical Manager promotes cross-functional development of solutions, products, and

training programs to help Holcim create and maintain a market-leading portfolio of products

and services in a competitive environment.

Duties and responsibilities

 Create and update public-facing technical documents including guides, details, and other

documents, in response to changing market conditions, codes or regulatory updates,

product changes, and periodic reviews

 Support the new product process as required to determine impact thermoplastic

membrane systems and accessories

 Maintain a thorough understanding of current product requirements, adoptions, and

changes

 Review and implement changes, trainings, and communications to the business related

to application changes, competitive comparisons, adoptions, or other topics in the

industry

 Act as a subject matter expert on TPO and PVC and related subject matter and respond

to sales reps and regional technical questions

 Review Marketing literature and website content updates for technical accuracy and

clarity

 Present technical trainings as related to the business

 Compare and determine differences between warrantable applications and code

Requirements

 Collaborate with R&D and Marketing to determine gaps in product offerings and

contribute to the development process

 Understand Holcim’s strategic direction and align team activities and metrics to execute

and deliver against them

 Create and foster a culture of customer-centric, action-oriented, collaborative teammates

 Participate in corporate initiatives as assigned to enhance company capabilities,

performance, and efficiency

 Collaborate effectively across functional departments (including Marketing, Sales,

Quality, R&D, Manufacturing, Purchasing and Field Services) to implement process and

system improvements that improve customer satisfaction, simplify work processes and

drive breakthrough growth

Qualifications

 BS/BA in engineering or related field and 5 years relevant experience

 Excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to maintain positive

relationships with customers and teammates

 Proficiency in AutoCAD, Vault, CRM, and Adobe software is preferred

 High level of intellectual and emotional intelligence is required

 Demonstrated proficiency in process development, implementation and improvement

Working conditions

Position will be primarily office-based in Nashville, TN using standard office technology, with

business travel up to 25%.
