HIGHLIGHTS
As the Supply Chain Manager, you will be part of the growth strategy to further strengthen its international position. You will be responsible for managing the importation of cocoa products into North America.
What are you going to do?
The Supply Chain Manager will be the main contact person with the customers and will drive exceptional customer service by creating customized supply chain solutions, effective Supply Chain Management and oversees all aspects of imports. You will focus on providing business process improvements, customer satisfaction and financial benefits.
The Supply Chain Manager will oversee all aspects of the Supply Chain process. Managing imports into the USA from global production facilities, handling customer orders, overseeing warehouse operations, and working closely with the sales team to implement tailored supply chain solutions. Initially, you will assess the current supply chain process, develop, and deploy. As the primary point of contact for all customer operational needs, the Supply Chain Manager will create bespoke supply chain solutions aimed at exceeding customer requirements. By emphasizing customer satisfaction and efficient supply chain management, you will drive customer-centricity and contribute to achieving the company's sales and revenue goals.
- Supervise and manage all aspects of the operations of imports
- Coordinating all communication with the customers
- Driving business growth and customer satisfaction
- Collaborating with international cross-functional teams
You will work remote with excellent primary and secondary working conditions with plenty of room to develop and challenge yourself within the organization.
Profile
As the Supply Chain Manager you need to have an excellent understanding of import within North America. In addition, you have an intrinsic interest in customers and putting their needs at the heart of the operation, along with identifying pain points and solving problems. You are able to in the market and grow the business towards achieving excellent results. By being flexible and open to adapt to different people, environments and situations.
Job requirements:
- Master`s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or any related field (MBA preferred).
- 10 years’ experience with importation into the USA (FMCG)
- Proven track record within all the facets of the Supply Chain process
- Advanced understanding of FDA, CBP, C-TPAT etc.
- Experience in Ocean, Intermodal and air transportation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Remote but must be located in the USA. Involves international travel
