Global Public Affairs (PA) is an essential partner in the successful execution of the company’s strategy. The Global PA team for Sanofi Specialty Care is organized by Therapeutic Areas (TA) and provides support to each TA across key geographies.

The Global Public Affairs Manager, Immunology, will support the Global Public Affairs team in implementing its overall PA strategy across therapeutic areas in our expanding immunology pipeline. This includes leading special projects while also supporting team members with the implementation of key tactics and activities across therapeutic areas. The incumbent will support the team in ensuring our continued commitment to the patient community and working with key stakeholders to support a policy environment that ensures better health outcomes for patients and their families.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Managing team’s engagement with external partners, including but not limited to patient organizations
  • Ensuring the implementation and organization of shared projects with other functions in the company
  • Supporting the Global PA Head for Immunology with key projects that support the overall strategy of the function
  • Supporting team members with meeting preparation, tactical execution, and budget management
  • Learning and carrying out necessary Sanofi processes to support event development and management

About You:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (accredited four-year College or university) is required.
  • Post-graduate degree in a relevant field (i.e. public affairs, international affairs, public health, health policy, etc.) is a plus
  • 5 to 7 years work experience related to healthcare public affairs, government affairs, policy, and/or patient advocacy
  • “Can do” pro-active positive attitude and staying ahead of the team with timelines
  • Independent mindset and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to support multiple team members and projects simultaneously across different time zones
  • Demonstrated ability to work with teams of experts and senior leaders in a highly matrixed organization
  • Excellent English oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable in ambiguous settings and in operating effectively in fast paced environments.
