Essential Job Functions

The Business developer is an integral part in developing client connections and is a crucial part in the growth of Heck Capital Advisors. We are seeking a candidate that is highly motivated, has a positive attitude, willing to network, excited to bring in new opportunities, and willing to grow and take on new tasks and assignments.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand client base and increase assets under management.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with high-net-worth individuals, families, and clients.
  • Create and implement strategies for client acquisition and retention.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with investment advisors and portfolio managers to create and understand solutions for clients.
  • Attend networking events and industry conferences to build and enhance professional connections.
  • Manage client onboarding processes and ensure smooth integration of new clients.
  • Provide feedback and insights to senior management for strategic planning and decision-making


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, finance, or other related fields.
  • Strong understanding of financial products, markets, and investment strategies.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Investment experience preferred.
  • Ensures confidentiality with respect to all information pertaining to clients and potential clients.
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Office (especially Excel), Adobe suite of products and the ability to learn and adapt to changes in technology.
  • Possess a commitment to professionalism, organization, honesty, and strong work ethic.
