Business Systems Analyst

Northwest Partners is partnering with a premier client in the insurance industry to hire an experienced full-time Business Systems Analyst. This position is remote and based in Tampa, FL.

What YOU will do:

• Understand business processes and the interdependencies of various systems.
• Facilitate interactive discussions between business units and technology teams to align on defining requirements.
• Assist in eliciting and documenting system requirements, creating workflows, and managing ticket triage to translate business needs into functional specifications.
• Identify and communicate risks, issues, potential solution strategies, and provide status updates to senior leadership and impacted teammates.
• Participate in discussions to identify system enhancements, prioritize project requirements, and document and gain sign-off on business requirements.
• Identify test steps and review test cases with the Quality Assurance team, assisting with testing functionality of systems.
• Communicate business priorities to the IT team and assist in creating training material and training end-users on system enhancements and new programs.
• Provide reports and data extracts to internal and external business partners.
• This position may require routine or periodic travel.

What YOU will bring us:

• Four-plus years of related BSA experience in Homeowners industry with Policy Homeowners Exp.
• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree.
• Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft suite, Office365; focus on Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with new system implementations, workflows, requirements gathering, and software lifecycle.
• Insurance industry experience, specifically with Personal Lines Homeowners business.
• Knowledge of the policy lifecycle
• Experience working with an offshore resource model.
• Insurance industry experience in MGU is preffered.
• Experience with Unquork and Solartis systems is preffered.
