Job Description

  • Lead and manage the financial reporting and GL accounting team, including day-to-day operations, training, and performance management.
  • Oversee the closing process, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements in accordance with US GAAP or IFRS .
  • Prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accurate recording and classification of all financial transactions.
  • Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard financial assets and ensure data integrity.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments (e.g., sales, operations, tax) to gather and consolidate financial information.
  • Analyze financial data and identify trends or areas for improvement.
  • Stay current with accounting standards and regulations (e.g., IFRS, SEC regulations).
  • Prepare and support the external audit process.
  • Research and provide documentation on technical accounting matters.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred).
  • Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience as a Financial Reporting or GL Accounting Manager.
  • Big 4 public accounting firm experience a strong plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Proven experience in leading and managing an accounting team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., ERP systems, SAP is a strong plus).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Additional Information

The expected annual pay range for this position is $124,000 - $186,000. This position is also eligible for bonus opportunities and commission pay. Please note that final offer amount will be dependent on geographic location, applicable experience, and skillset of the candidate.
