We are seeking a Project Manager that will apply structured project management methodologies in complex environments to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, in scope, and are relevant business objectives. This professional will be working closely with business and technical team members to ensure that all project requirements, deadlines, and schedules are on track. To be a successful candidate, you will need to have proven experience in project management and the ability to lead internal and external business and technical project teams of various sizes.


Responsibilities:


  • Works with the technology teams to align on expectations with business stakeholders for delivery of new capabilities, features, and functionalities.
  • Collaborates with Product Managers, Product Owners, Product Lead and Application teams to define the product backlog and feature priority.
  • Coordinate with cross discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
  • Understand current and future business goals and ongoing IT issues to ensure business success.
  • Meet with project team members to identify and resolve issues.
  • Develop project plans, goals, and budgets; identify resources needed.
  • Develop schedules and methods for measuring results.
  • Plan and oversee the preparation and dissemination of project communications.
  • Submit project deliverables and ensure that they adhere to quality standards.
  • Prepare status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information.
  • Establish effective project communication plans and ensure their execution.
  • Facilitate change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget.
  • Obtain customer acceptance of project deliverables.
  • Conduct post project evaluation and identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field and/or relevant work experience
  • Advanced Degree a plus
  • Industry Certification a plus – ITIL, CSM, PMP, etc.
  • 4+ years of IT experience, with 2+ years as a Project Manager
  • Proven track record in working on enterprise-level large projects
  • Experience in process definition, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Great written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to direct and manage teams – identifying project tasks, setting priorities, assigning and monitoring work
  • Ability to interact with and manage both local, remote and virtual project teams
  • Experience (leading or participating) in the deployment of enterprise-wide processes
  • Knowledge of SDLC, application integration principles, standards and methods
  • Preferred knowledge of Jira
  • Working knowledge of the MS Office Suite – Project, Visio, Word, Excel, Smartsheet, Miro
  • Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall
