Social Media Manager

The Stay At Home Chef shares restaurant-quality meals you can easily make at home. After 13 years of publishing recipes online, our community has a worldwide audience of over 12 million followers across social media, with millions of visits to our website every month. With a focus on easy-to-follow instructions and a wide variety of cuisines, we aim to help everyone feel empowered to be the chef of their own home kitchen. We live to serve our community of home cooks and are constantly striving to better meet their needs.

We’re looking for a Social Media Manager to join our team. This person will play a key role in serving our community and our users in a way that reaches them on a human level.

The rate for this position is $25-$35 per hour.

What you’ll do

• Implement social media strategies to serve our community by increasing engagement, followers, and website traffic
• Manage and create content for all social media channels, including Pinterest, Instagram, Facebook, Tikok, and YouTube
• Monitor social media accounts and respond to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner
• Collaborate with the creative team to ensure brand consistency across all channels
• Analyze social media metrics and provide regular reports on performance, identifying areas for improvement and suggesting new strategies to better serve our community
• Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices
  
  

What you bring to the table

• Proven experience as a social media manager or similar role
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong knowledge of social media platforms and their respective audiences
• Experience with social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, Tailwind, Agorapulse, etc
• Ability to create engaging content that resonates with our community
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive strategy
