Position Purpose: The Business Development Manager will play a crucial role in expanding market presence and driving revenue growth across our diverse portfolio of services. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and developing strategies to enhance our market penetration and increase sales.
Primary Duties And Responsibilities
- Market Analysis and Strategy Development:
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and understand industry trends.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the client base.
- Analyze competitor activities and market dynamics to refine business strategies.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
- Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions from our portfolio.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Sales and Revenue Generation:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in sectors such as healthcare, retail, finance, manufacturing, and education.
- Generate leads, conduct client meetings, and deliver compelling presentations to secure new contracts.
- Negotiate and close deals to achieve sales targets and increase revenue.
- Collaboration and Coordination:
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, technical, and project management, to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
- Work closely with the technical team to understand the capabilities and advantages of our solutions.
- Provide regular updates to the Director of Sales on business development activities and progress.
- Marketing and Promotion:
- Participate in industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our services.
- Develop marketing materials, case studies, and other promotional content to support business development efforts.
- Utilize digital marketing strategies to reach a broader audience and generate leads.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare and present regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts.
- Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
- Monitor client feedback and work with internal teams to address any issues or concerns.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the IT services industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong understanding of software development, enterprise solutions, cloud services, mobile app development, quality assurance, and engineering services.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with healthcare, retail, finance, manufacturing, and education sectors.
- Familiarity with technologies such as Java, .NET, Python, PHP, JavaScript, Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin, React Native, Flutter, MySQL, PostgreSQL, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, SAP, Salesforce, and Power BI.
