Job Description
The Human Resources Business Partner will provide HR consultation and guidance in the areas of Employee Relations Total Rewards and L&D to assigned customer group in Tustin, CA. The HRBP is a hands-on role that provides full cycle Human Resources support and service to several senior leaders and their respective organizations. They will build strong relationships with functional leaders, including the HR functional leaders, and serve as a trusted advisor for employees, navigating the employee life cycle.
Corporate
- Collaborate with HR Functional leadership to deliver initiatives and programs related to , performance management, organizational design, employee relations, compensation & benefits and workforce planning, such as benefits open enrollment, transition from competencies to skills and action planning from employee satisfaction surveys
- Sensitively and effectively drive change within client groups as appropriate
- Leverage the Workday HCM platform to bring actionable people insights to the attention of all levels of leaders, identify patterns and help facilitate any actions needed that stem from those analyses
- Develop and sustain an engaging, employee centric culture which aligns with our Guiding Principles and fuels business results, leveraging employee feedback survey results and other insights as a guide
- Collaborate with people leaders to follow up on survey action plans
- Responsible for providing guidance around “high touch” people experiences, such as performance management, retention practices, employee relations issues
- Work with business leaders to identify opportunities to mitigate risk and drive consistency across departments.
- Lead challenging conversations and interactions and provide expert consultation and leadership on employee relations and HR compliance matters.
- Ensure HR policies, procedures, and practices are implemented successfully at all levels.
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations and drive toward successful outcomes that align with culture and values
- Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to people leaders (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
- Work closely with leaders and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Support L&D program launches through the facilitation of presentations, follow up on training, and requesting feedback, as needed
- Partner with leaders to identify development needs and work with L&D team to implement solutions to continue to build individual and organizational capability
- Partner with L&D team and people leaders to ensure that organization is setting goals, engaging in regular two-way communication and performance management, leveraging Workday HCM platform
- Communicate training needs for teams and individual coaching needs with L&D team
- Ensure employees completion of required training
- Collaborate with leaders on promotions and career planning for employees on their teams
- Assist leaders to understand and stay on track with the annual year end compensation exercise
- Assist with the delivery of annual benefit open enrollment sessions explaining new plans and options
- The role requires high levels of organization, with strong communication skills and the ability to prioritize a large workload according tochanging business needs
- Ability to communicate effectively and confidently with people at all levels.
- Strong understanding of business operations
- Demonstrated ability to implement cross functional programs and drive performance
- Knowledge of Workday Human Capital Management Platform a significant plus
- Flexibility and ability to meet tight deadlines.Relationship management and customer service skills
- Possess akeen attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of California Wage and Hour and Employment laws
- BA/BS is Human Resources or related field
- 5 years’ experience within a multi-unit or multi-site Human Resources Business Partner support role
- Ability to travel 25%
Salary Range
Placement within this compensation range will be determined by the candidate's knowledge, experience and skills.
$105,330.00 - $175,550.00
