As part of our quality assurance team, you will ensure the excellence of our web experiences and custom products. Collaborating with engineering, design, and product teams, you will be responsible for testing software solutions that address real-world challenges. Your role will involve leading our automation initiatives, analyzing application functionality, designing automated tests, and guaranteeing the delivery of high-quality software through robust automated testing procedures.


You will build and nurture a culture of QA automation, implementing structures and processes to support automated QA across the organization. Leading complex technical programs spanning multiple projects for major accounts (Fortune 50/Fortune 100 companies), you will understand our client-partners' business needs and collaborate across disciplines to tailor technical solutions to support clients' KPIs and future-proof their organizations. You will manage multiple engineering teams to achieve these objectives.


You are a passionate advocate for software quality, with a keen understanding of how to achieve high performance, security, compliance, and accessibility. You possess outstanding QA skills and a solid grasp of contemporary tools and methodologies, with a proven track record of building effective QA automation frameworks and driving continuous improvement.


WHAT YOU'LL DO


  • Be a hands-on leader and coach, guiding engineering teams to successfully test and deliver scalable, maintainable, and secure features to our customers. Advocate for clean code, testing, process refinements, and continuous improvements
  • Conduct rigorous quality assurance testing of user-focused web and responsive web applications, as well as the backend systems and infrastructure that support these experiences
  • Direct teams of QA engineers to plan, develop, and maintain comprehensive automation testing strategies, ensuring coverage of all critical aspects
  • Architect and implement robust automation frameworks to streamline testing processes, leveraging the latest tools and best practices in automation​
  • Partner closely with the growth team to incorporate user research and emerging technologies into proposals and pitches, driving innovation and shaping product ideas
  • Understand and define client requirements, driving strategic relationship development for the organization
  • Perform feature-based requirements gathering, test execution, regression testing, and functional system testing through automated scripts
  • Use automation to track and analyze test results, working closely with engineers to isolate, reproduce, and correct defects
  • Be actively involved in release cycles by contributing to scope planning, test effort estimation, and release sign-off through automated processes
  • Build and manage a diverse, geographically dispersed team (India, Manila, LatAm) promote a collaborative and inclusive environment


WHAT YOU'LL NEED


  • Experience in test automation, with extensive experience in automating quality assurance testing, especially for responsive web, mobile, and custom applications
  • Strong in developing test scenarios, test case development, testing methodologies, planning, and execution of stories in an agile environment, all through automation
  • Expert-level experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Katalon, and Robot Framework​
  • Extensive experience with unit testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, PHP Unit, JUnit), load testing tools (JMeter, Blazemeter, ab, siege), API testing tools (Postman), and continuous integration tools (Jenkins, CircleCI, Travis, GitHub Actions)​
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, PHP, Python, Java, with a focus on automation script development
  • Highly aware of modern optimization and performance techniques, including automated detection and correction of memory usage issues and code optimization for application performance​
  • Experience in building and designing automated test cases, with strong creative problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills
  • Passionate about web accessibility and security, with knowledge of the latest WCAG 2.1 AA+ guidelines and standards, ensuring these aspects are automated in testing processes
  • Must be a compelling and clear communicator, able to explain the full possibilities of the tech stack/architecture and represent your team to internal and external audiences with differing levels of technical fluency
  • Exposure to working and responding to RFP/RFI requirements for global customers, effort estimation, and scope prioritization through automated processes
  • Act as a product evangelist with a deep curiosity about automation technology trends
  • Self-motivated and focused on achieving excellence as a team, with a strong emphasis on automation
  • Build and nurture a culture of QA automation, implementing structures and processes to support automated QA across the organization

The target range of base compensation for this role is $210k-$275k. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location.
