Job Overview

The Global Controller is a key member of our accounting management team. This role requires an engaged and collaborative leader with a balance of accounting knowledge, analytical skills, and financial management capability.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting with adherence to GAAP principles.
• Support the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and compliance.
• Oversee controllership activities including the following:

* Maintaining the general ledger

*Managing the month-end close process

*Completing international consolidations, intercompany transactions, and eliminations

*Supporting the development of robust financial systems

*Adhering to a comprehensive set of controls designed to mitigate risk

• Coordinate external audits and ensure timely completion with minimal disruptions.
• Oversee and direct the preparation of reports that summarize business results (revenue, expense and earnings) and financial position (balance sheet and cash flow)
• Ensure completeness of all documentation required for annual financial and statutory audits.
• Coordinate with FP&A to produce monthly and quarterly Forecasts vs. Actual reporting.
• Provide proactive cross-functional support to various departments, embodying a customer service mentality.
• Maintain and enhance internal controls to protect assets and sustain regulatory compliance.
• Facilitate a culture of continuous improvement, inclusivity, and professional development.
• Interface with PE firm and members of the executive team to prepare board and investor materials.
• Manage the global accounting team including regional controllers and COE.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years’ experience in Accounting, 3-5 years’ experience as a Controller
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP
• Big 4 public accounting experience
• Familiar with reporting requirements for various international locations including EMEA, Japan and India.
• Flexibility and adaptability to standing up a new NetSuite environment to full production operations
• Robust knowledge in financial management and compliance
• Experience working in technology companies is preferred
• Proficiency with NetSuite is preferred
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field
