Junior Graphic Designer

** must have a portfolio/examples of previous design work ** 

Typical average workload to expect:

• 2-3 PDF assets per week (ranging between short-form and long-form)
• 10-15 social media graphics per week
• 3-5 email graphics per week 
• 3-5 landing page icons, banners, ads, etc. 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design / or related field
• You have 2+ years of experience in a high pace startup or agency environment
• You have a passion for graphic design and would like to apply that passion through digital marketing within the tech space
• You thrive in a remote role with little supervision
• You understand startups and have an ability to design for a B2B SaaS client
• You are able to interpret requirements for a design project, ask good questions, and quickly adhere to strict turnaround times 
• You are able to understand a client's vision meet their expectations
• You are able to manage a continual pipeline of design requests 
• You are able to manage 3rd party resources effectively as needed (i.e. Design Pickle) when workloads are heavy 
• You have experience working in Canva and Adobe

Responsibilities:

• Translate the client's vision and incorporate that into design strategies for a variety of digital marketing assets
• Deliver exceptional designs that meet our clients expectations and delivery timelines
• Design a variety of digital marketing assets such as downloadable PDFs (infographics, ebooks, white papers, 1-pagers), email graphics, landing pages, social media graphics, digital display ads, slide decks, and more
• Clearly communicate design requests to our team of outside design resources, as needed, to manage bandwidth and delivery timelines 
• Participate in meetings with clients and team members to collaborate and provide updates

• Has experience working with multiple clients, on multiple different projects, at the same time
• Understands the client's brand essence, visual aesthetic, their audience, and is able to bring content to life with great design
• Able to prioritize work based on client expectations, manage a continuous flow of deliverables, and work cross-functionally internally
• Understands excellent meeting etiquette, shows up prepared and communicates clearly
• Able to easily navigate through different tech tools and platforms
• Has a good eye for quality and pride in what they're doing
• Has a good attitude and helps others keep focused on the right things
• Pays attention to detail but is able to explain things simply
