Position: Assistant Buyer
Location: Laval
Salary: $52,000 - $60,000
Our client is a leading company highly regarded by construction experts and entrepreneurs who seek to successfully execute projects of any scale while relying on high-quality products. They are currently looking for an Assistant Buyer with opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities
Ensure data integrity.
Maintain supplier information (prices, lists, records, codes).
Create product codes while strictly following procedures.
Update expected delivery times for imported products.
Act as a liaison between suppliers and logistics.
Prepare and distribute daily reports (stock shortages).
Distribute special requests for product searches.
Monitor daily price confirmations and discrepancies.
Track supplier delivery delays.
Ensure the transport of inputs in collaboration with logistics.
Coordinate maritime transport of imports with the broker.
Collaborate with various departments to ensure data accuracy.
Participate in the implementation of an SAP process.
Qualifications
Bilingualism in French and English is essential.
Strong analytical skills.
Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy.
Persistence and tenacity in problem-solving.
Good negotiation skills.
Resourcefulness.
Proficiency in Excel and Outlook.
Knowledge of SAP is an asset.
