Blayze Recruitment have partnered with a leading Real Estate investment, development and management company who are seeking a bright and hard-working Vice President to join their dynamic team based out of their corporate head office in Dallas. This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity to gain valuable experience in several areas of real estate and finance, working alongside and reporting directly into the CEO.


They are a fully integrated real estate business that provides development, management and capital solutions primarily through partnerships in residential, commercial and mixed-use real estate projects. With their highly experienced management team, they conduct detailed studies using their knowledge in real estate, land development, engineering, construction, marketing and finance. This careful, in-depth analysis of opportunities identifies projects that can produce desired rates of return for their clients.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete pro forma analysis for mixed-use development projects.
  • Compile, modify and forecast project and company level cash flow.
  • Prepare project investment and financing packages to equity investors and lenders.
  • Coordinate with lenders, appraisers and attorneys to facilitate the acquisition and closing of development loans.
  • Assist management with due diligence of prospective project acquisitions.
  • Improve financial analysis by reviewing results, monitoring variances, identifying trends, developing templates/processes and recommending actions to management in support of company goals.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and assist management with special projects as needed.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field with superior academic performance.
  • 10+ years of professional experience; experience in real estate development, homebuilding or related field preferred.
  • Solid knowledge of accounting, finance and valuation principles.
  • Self-starter, able to work independently or in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to develop and sustain strong professional relationships.
