Job Overview: Cosmetic Solutions is seeking an experienced Business Development Director with a strong background in the cosmetics industry, specifically in skin care, hair care, and personal care to lead our business development efforts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of establishing and nurturing relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of the cosmetics market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the cosmetics industry, including potential clients and market segments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and objectives to drive client retention and satisfaction.
- Lead the negotiation and closing of contracts with clients, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for Cosmetic Solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to support business development initiatives and deliver innovative solutions to clients.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify potential threats and opportunities for Cosmetic Solutions.
- Represent Cosmetic Solutions at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote our brand and build professional networks.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales roles within the cosmetics industry, preferably in private label manufacturing.
- Proven track record of successfully identifying and closing new business opportunities, with a focus on driving revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of cosmetics manufacturing processes, industry regulations, and market trends.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective business development plans.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a passion for driving business success and exceeding targets.
- Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
