Job Summary: The Senior Research Analyst is responsible for leading and conducting in-depth research to provide actionable insights and support strategic decision-making. This role involves analyzing data, synthesizing findings, and delivering comprehensive reports and recommendations. The Senior Research Analyst plays a key role in shaping the organization’s research strategy and ensuring that research activities align with business objectives.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage research projects, including defining research objectives, designing methodologies, and analyzing data.
Conduct quantitative and qualitative research, including surveys, interviews, market analysis, and competitive intelligence.
Develop and maintain research models, tools, and databases to support ongoing analysis and reporting.
Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform strategic decisions.
Prepare and present detailed research reports, findings, and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.
Collaborate with various departments to understand their research needs and provide tailored solutions.
Monitor industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to provide relevant and timely insights.
Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and validity of research data and methodologies.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts and support their professional development.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Research, Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related field; advanced degree (e.g., Master’s, PhD) is preferred.
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in research, data analysis, or a similar role.
Strong proficiency in research methodologies, data analysis techniques, and statistical tools.
Experience with research software and tools (e.g., SPSS, SAS, R, Python) and data visualization platforms.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey research findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to manage multiple research projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Experience with market research, competitive analysis, and industry trend analysis is a plus
