Job Description

We are seeking a Director, Operations to lead project management and operational infrastructure initiatives for some of the biggest brands in influencer marketing. As a core member of the Business Operations team, you will partner closely with Client Solutions, Campaign Management, Sales, and other Operational teams to set projects up for success. The Director, Operations develops and leads forward-looking plans to drive growth and support business scale. They have a strong project management background, are data-driven, possess the ability to think critically, and are solution-oriented. This role evaluates and advises on the impact of long-term planning and the introduction of new programs and strategies. They provide thoughtful operational advice on potential risks and issues, propose practical, responsive solutions, and drive recommendations through to implementation and results.

Responsibilities

  • **Project Management**: Manage strategic business-wide initiatives, including directing operational activities, resource management, and workflow development.
  • **Platform Rollout**: Orchestrate the rollout of our new project management platform, Monday.com, including template development, integrations, and daily maintenance.
  • **Data-Driven Decisions**: Utilize quantitative data and intuitive observation to drive business decisions and demonstrate measurable added value to the organization.
  • **Cross-Functional Collaboration**: Work across teams to surface key insights and learnings that can help elevate the business overall, scaling our business processes for future growth.
  • **Project Health Monitoring**: Monitor project health; identify risks, resolve open issues, and audit project data on a regular basis.
  • **Communication**: Communicate frequently with internal teams to track project status, ensuring adjustments are made as necessary.
  • **Process Improvement**: Implement, evangelize, and enforce operational workflows; building new and evolving processes to improve outcomes and support scale.
  • **Reporting**: Manage reporting; create and manipulate data, analyzing critical business metrics to help the organization manage performance.
  • **Special Projects**: Lead and assist with special projects as necessary.

Qualifications

  • **Experience**: 8+ years of demonstrated experience in business operations, resource management, and/or project management within a creative agency or marketing organization.
  • **Technical Skills**: Expert skills within Salesforce and Monday.com, Cloud Coach experience a plus.
  • **Reporting Proficiency**: Strong reporting experience with demonstrated proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.
  • **Time Management**: Ability to prioritize competing business needs, manage deadlines, and proactively manage business stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • **Communication Skills**: Exceptional communication skills, comfortable escalating or following up with stakeholders when requests get roadblocked.
  • **Process Building**: Excitement for building processes to accommodate new products and challenges, leveraging strong data skills to share insights and make actionable recommendations.
  • **Attention to Detail**: A keen attention to detail with inherent motivation toward continuous improvement.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with Cloud Coach.
  • Certified project manager.
  • Experience working at a startup.
  • Passion for social media and influencer marketing.

Salary Range

$125,000 - $165,000

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
